|How soy makes me feel.|
One good thing about COVID has been working from, and eating at, home. I had scrambled eggs and coffee for breakfast, leftover coconut curry chicken and a green salad for lunch, and the same chicken, some homemade lentil salad and homemade low-carb chocolate chip cookies for dinner. Coincidentally, someone on a chat site I belong to posted a local restaurant receipt. I have no idea what half the items are. What are zombie dust, scooby snacks, liquid marijuana and diesel fuel? I honestly don't know whether they had lunch at a gas station, dispensary or veterinarian's office--only that the check looked as ghastly as the meal.
So it's only on principle that I care that several of Indy's bars and restaurants are suing the city for being forced to close while other businesses and schools are open. If today's decision by a federal court judge smacking down Pennsylvania's arbitrary and ongoing shutdowns is any indication, bon vivants here can soon go back to paying through the nose to abuse their stomachs.
