I hope I have this much energy when I'm 64. I know people my age who complain that they feel old.


I just hope I look better and don't have to get any body parts chopped off.

He definitely does, but I'm not sure how the honestly earned craggy look would work for me.

Is age all in the mind? Well some days perhaps yes?
I can feel 10 years younger on good days or 10 years older on bad days - well perhaps a slight exaggeration! But the likes of Alice Cooper, Rod Stewart, Bowie and a whole host of others do well - and long may it remain.

I suspect a lot of the veterans have had to stop living like rock stars to continue being rock stars. I saw Alice Cooper last night at Red Rocks--and he's still got it. I'm really finicky about music, especially vocals, since it's painful for me to listen to anything that's off. If it's bad enough, I'll get up and leave; I've even yelled "This band sucks!" There are some veterans who need to get off the stage. But Cooper was terrific. And he followed a hell of an act in Marilyn Manson.

Personally, eating the wrong thing or going too many days with too little sleep really does take a toll on me--and I'm young enough to be Alice Cooper's kid.
